Aluminium Oxide Ceramic is the most common use in the engineering ceramic, offering excellent excellent electrical insulation properties together with high hardness and good wear resistance features. Aluminium Oxide Ceramic is general white but may also be pink or ivory, the color is derived from the sintering additives or impurities in the raw material.
Features of the Aluminium Oxide Ceramic
- High Hardness: The hardness can be up to 1500.
- High Heat Resistance: aluminium oxide ceramichas excellent thermal stability. Which means it can be widely used in areas where high temperature environment.
- Good Wear Resistance: aluminium oxide ceramic is a good choice for wear parts.
- High Corrosion Resistance: it is insoluble in water and only slightly soluble in the strong acid and alkaline solutions. Good chemical stability leads this material a good features of high corrosion resistance.
